ABOUT
My Full Story
My name is Yulin Wang, and I was born in a seaside city in northeast China - Dalian. I finished my first-two year undergraduate at Dalian University of Technology in my hometown, then transferred to the University of Edinburgh. Currently, I am a Master researcher at Hamlyn Centre, Imperial College London working on Medical Robotics and Image-Guided Intervention, an inter-disciplinary degree course from which I have learnt a lot about the latest AI and Robotics technologies, as well as their implementations in the medical and surgical area.
I love experiencing different adventures as I believe 'you only live once'. I like playing the guitar (although haven't been playing for a while due to my heavy academic life atm). I am a huge fan of a variety of sports including swimming, hiking, squash, and basketball.
Life is amazing although it could be hard sometimes. I don't believe that all the work you do will be paid off, but I do agree with the fact that if you don't give a try, there will never be a chance. I like the proverb - With greater power, comes with greater responsibilities, and I am committed to try my very best and do whatever I could do to make a positive change to our world!
